Install librobinson directly from github. 
$ git clone https://github.com/byztxt/librobinson
$ cd librobinson
$ sudo python3 ./setup.py install
Then, in Python: 
from robinson import convert
trie = convert.beta2unicodeTrie()
beta = "LO/GOS\n"
unicode, remainder = trie.convert(beta)
