Visual Studio Code: Side Bar

The side bar is located either on the left side (but right of the Activity Bar) or on the right side. Its position can be moved with View -> Appearance -> Move Side Bar Right|Left

The keyboard shortcut ctrl+0 moves focus to the Side Bar, ctrl+b shows or hides (toggles) the Side Bar.
