Settings that can be changed under
Tools -> Options -> Environment -> Documents include
- Detect when file is changed outside the environment (and: Reload modified files unless there are unsvaed changes)
- Allow editing of read-only files; wanr when attempt to save
- Open file using directory of currently active dcoument
- Check for consisten line endings on load
- Display warning when global undo will modify edited files
- Show Miscellaneous files in Solution Explorer (and number of items saved in the Miscellaneous files project)
- Save documents as Unicode when data cannot be saved in codepage
