SQL Developer: File -> Open

File -> Open opens a file into the Editor.

It seems that Oracle SQL Developer goes to the directory of the file that is currently opened in the Editor.

Opening trace files

Apparently, SQL Developer recognizes trace files when being opened.

Alternatively, a trace file can also be dragged onto a SQL Developer Worksheet to have it formatted.
