CIFAR-10 and CIFAR-100

CIFAR-10 and CIFAR-100 is a labeled subset of the 80 million TimyImages dataset (which is a withrdrawn dataset because it contained derogatory terms).

CIFAR stands for Canadian Institute for Advanced Research.

CIFAR-10

The CIFAR-10 dataset consists of 60000 color images, each 32 by 32 pixels.

Each image belongs to one of ten classes (airplane, automobile, bird, cat, deer, dog, frog, horse, ship and truck).

CIFAR-100

CIFAR-100 is just like the CIFAR-10, except it has 100 classes, groupd into 20 superclasses, containing 600 images each.
