Biblische Chronologie: Exodus

Die Berechnung des Jahres des Exodus ist mit der Angabe in 2. Mo 12:40-41 möglich: Die Wohnzeit der »Kinder Israel« (bis zum Exodus) in Ägypten betrug 430 Jahre.

Diese Wohnzeit begann 2298 AM, als Jakob mit seiner Familie nach Ägypten zog und in Ramses wohnte (1. Mo 47:11, 2. Mo 12:37).

Folglich fand der Exodus 2728 AM statt. (Zint: 1506 v. Chr.)

Interessanterweise ist der Zahlenwert des Wortes Ramses (רַעְמְסֵס) auch 430 (= 200+70+40+60+60), was der Wohnzeit des Volkes in Ramses entspricht.

Henry Browne: Ordo sæclorum: A treatise on the chronology of the Holy Scriptures: and the indications therein contained of a divine plan of times and seasons.

Browne berechnet 1586 v. Chr. für den Exodus.

S. 362: Exodus bis Zerstörung 2. Tempel: 1656 Jahre (analog Jahr der Flut)

Gérard Gertoux bestimmt 1533 v. Chr. als Exodus Jahr und Seqenenre als Pharao, der Israel erst nicht ziehen lassen wollte. Den Tod des Pharaos datiert er exakt auf den 10. Mai (Absolute Chronology of Exodus).
