ctrl alt delete

The ctrl-alt-delete keyboard sequence is also referred to as Secure Authentication Sequence (short: SAS).

This sequence is handled by winlogon.exe.

After pressiong this sequence, the user is presented with the following options:

• Lock
• Switch user
• Sign out
• Change a password
• Task Manager
