c:\pagefile.sys

c:\pagefile.sys is the memory page file (or paging file). Windows uses it as if it were RAM.

If the paging file is disabled or its initial size set to less than 800 MB and a system error occurs, Windows might not record details that could help identify the problemthe problem.
