Office Ribbon: File -> Options -> General

File -> Options -> General allows to set, well, general options for working with Word, Excel etc.

User interface options

Options:

Show Mini Toolbar on selection
Enable Live Preview
Screen Tip style (Show/don't show feature descriptions in ScreenTips; don't show ScreenTips)

Excel also has: Show Quick Analysis options on selection.

Word also has: Update document content while dragging.

Options include

User name
Initials
Always use these values regardless of sign in to Office
Office Theme (Colorful, Dark Gray, White)

TODO: Are user name and initials stored in the registry under HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Office\Common\UserInfo?

Start up options

Options to choose from:

Choose the extensions you want … to open by default
Tell me if Microsoft … is't the default program for viewing and editing …
Show the Start screen when this application starts (Compare with the Excel command line parameter /e)
