Recovery Point Objective (RPO)
The RPO is the amount of
data, measured in a time-duration, that an organization is prepared to tolarete loosing.
In order to achieve an RPO of say 12 hours, the data needs to be backed up and replicated in intervals that are no longer than 12 hours.
